The Cole Center For Healing offers treatment of health conditions, such as, CP,
stroke, MS, lyme disease, brain injury, fibromyalgia, etc. Our philosophy
is centered on methods that have the potential to help people become healthy.
Dr. Ted Cole has utilized therapies since opening his practice in 1989, and
spends a large amount of time learning new approaches to healing including chelation,
a medical treatment that improves metabolic function and blood flow through blocked
arteries throughout the body. Chelation therapy is a safe and effective alternative
to bypass surgery or angioplasty and stents. Hardening of the arteries need not
lead to coronary bypass surgery, heart attack, stroke, or senility. Our goal is
to find the CAUSE of your problems, and not just cover up the symptoms. We can
help determine the best health care program for you, whatever your condition or
goals might be.
Dr. Theodore J. Cole, M.A., D.O., N.M.D., F.A.A.I.M.
Dr. Cole attended Moeller High School in Cincinnati, and then went to Centre College in Danville, Kentucky. He majored in Psychobiology with a minor in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. His next academic stay was at Western Kentucky University, where he earned his M.A. degree with a double major in Clinical Psychology and Experimental Psychology. After graduate school, Dr. Cole was a psychologist at Comprehensive Mental Health Services in St. Petersburg, Florida. While there he worked with children and families. He provided individual counseling, group therapy, marital therapy, and academic, behavioral, intellectual and psychological testing. He also worked as a liaison with several schools, designing academic and behavioral programs for challenged children.
Following this experience, Dr. Cole attended Ohio University College of Osteopathic
Medicine in Athens, Ohio. He did his internship at Detroit Osteopathic Hospital
in Detroit, Michigan, and then did his residency in Family Practice at Doctor's
Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He obtained his Board Certification in Family
Practice immediately afterwards. The American Naturopathic Medical Association
awarded Dr. Cole his Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree and Board Certification
in 1989. Dr. Cole opened his private practice after the completion of his residency,
and has been practicing in that capacity ever since.
Dr. Cole belongs to numerous medical societies, and has been honored with the status of Fellow by the American Association of Integrative Medicine. The position of Fellow "is limited to a select group of professionals who, by virtue of their extensive training and expertise, have demonstrated outstanding abilities."
Dr. Cole has been interviewed numerous times for radio, television, newspapers,
and magazines. He has also lectured at many medical meetings, and routinely provides
seminars on a wide variety of topics.
Dr. Cole's statement: "My mom always said that I would be a doctor, because as a child I was always talking about being an "aminal doctor". I guess she was right on that one. I have a lot of interests, but the office and my five kids take up most of my time. On the rare occasions that I actually have some free time, I like to listen to music or watch movies. I also like the arts, outdoor activities, and enjoying a fine micro-brew. We live on a small farm, and I like to get outside and work on it after being in the office all the time. The other thing that I actually like to do is to read medical information. I think that I'm blessed in that I'm working in an area that I truly enjoy and never get bored with." |
